NEARY NOGS (Ireland)

NearyNógs is a family-run stoneground bean-to-bar chocolate maker from County Down, Northern Ireland, established by Shane and Dorothy Neary. The company began in 2011 and has grown from a small family venture into one of Ireland’s best-known craft chocolate makers.

Based on the Mourne Coast, NearyNógs produces chocolate in small batches, taking control of the process from roasting, cracking and winnowing the cacao beans through stone grinding, conching and tempering. Their focus is particularly on single-origin cacao and allowing the individual character and flavour of each bean to shine through.
